Brewer Steel Company was started in 1926 as a family business in Greeley,
Colorado. Originally located in downtown Greeley, Brewer Steel began as a sheet metal and ductwork fabricator, serving the
local agricultural market. Over the years, Brewer Steel's reputation as a reliable, quality fabricator grew, and the business
expanded and grew to include heavier products and fabrications. Beginning in the early 1980s, the focus of the business shifted
from sheet metal and ductwork to heavy fabrication and process equipment. With the addition of specialized equipment and key
personnel, Brewer Steel today enjoys a reputation as one of the leading fabricators in the Rocky Mountain West, maintaining
its reputation for quality and on-time delivery of custom fabrications. In November 1994, Brewer Steel was
purchased from the Brewer family by BMA (www.bma-de.com), a German engineering and fabricating firm located in Braunschweig, Germany. BMA has been in business since 1856 and
specializes in the design and manufacture of sugar processing equipment. As the world leader in this technology, BMA has completed
successful projects throughout the world. As BMA's sole fabricator in North America, Brewer Steel is ideally located to serve
the fabrication requirements of the sugar industry throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
In January 1996, Brewer Steel moved into its new, state-of-the-art fabricating
plant in southeast Greeley. Our plant has over 40,000 square feet under roof, with three overhead cranes having a 50-ton total
capacity and 30'-0" floor-to-hook height. Combining our facilities with our extensive experience and expertise, Brewer Steel
is more than able to meet your most demanding fabricating requirements.
